The present invention relates to an animal model and a method for screening a substance for treating or preventing inflammatory responses using the same. According to the present invention, the animal model into which cysteine protease has been administered in vagina can have significant synergistic effects on induction of inflammatory responses, particularly with the administration of progestin. In addition, a therapeutic agent such as a vaccine can be developed by screening the substance for treating or preventing infectious disease using the produced animal model.본 발명은 동물 모델 및 그를 이용한 염증반응의 치료 또는 예방을 위한 물질 스크리닝 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 질 내 시스테인 프로테아제가 투여된 동물 모델은 특히 프로게스틴의 투여로 염증반응 유도에 현저한 시너지 효과를 나타낼 수 있다. 또한, 상기 제조된 동물 모델을 이용하여 감염성 질환의 치료 또는 예방을 위한 물질을 스크리닝하여, 백신과 같은 치료제를 발굴할 수 있다.
