Die Erfindung betrifft ein Zitzengummi zur Verwendung an einem Melkbecher das ein Kopfteil mit einer Einführöffnung für eine Zitze eines Tieres aufweist. Mit dem Kopfteil ist ein Schaftteil verbunden. Unterhalb des Kopfteiles ist ein Halterand angeordnet, der beabstandet zum Schaftteil, diesen umgibt. Das erfindungsgemäße Zitzengummi zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Halterand in seiner inneren Mantelfläche wenigstens eine sich im Wesentlichen in Umfangsrichtung des Halterandes erstreckende Ausnehmung aufweist, vorzugsweise sind die Ausnehmungen der Stirnfläche der Hülse gegenüberliegend ausgebildet.The invention relates to a teat rubber for use on a milking cup that has a head part with an insertion opening for an animals teat.
