PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic composition which is effective to a lifestyle related disease, especially to improvement of blood sugar level.SOLUTION: A Citrus Sudachi essential oil component is concentrated and separated from a Citrus Sudachi pericarp, and when living for several weeks under an atmosphere of an aromatic component originated in Citrus Sudachi, while using the Citrus Sudachi essential oil component, it is found that the blood sugar level is lowered significantly. Resultantly, the aromatic composition containing the Citrus Sudachi essential oil component as an active ingredient can be provided as aromatherapy for a lifestyle related disease, especially for improvement of blood sugar level.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】生活習慣病、特に血糖値の改善に有効な芳香組成物を提供する。【解決手段】スダチ果皮からスダチ精油成分を濃縮分離し、このスダチ精油成分を使用して、スダチ由来の芳香成分の雰囲気下で数週間生活すると、血糖値が有意に降下することを見出した。この結果、生活習慣病、特に血糖値の改善のアロマテラピーとしてスダチ精油成分を有効成分とする芳香組成物が提供できるようになった。【選択図】 なし
