The invention is directed toward an apparatus for promoting urorectal organ emptying and related method. The apparatus has a funnel that circumscribes a womans urethral opening and directs urine to pass therethrough and generally away from the woman. A lift portion is attached to the funnel, and is sized to be insertable into the womans vaginal cavity and displace a prolapsed organ. In the case of prolapsed urinary bladder, the lift portion is shaped to engage the womans anterior vaginal wall and displace a prolapsed urinary bladder and promote urinal emptying.
