Reacting the O,O-dimethyl phosphoroamidothioate formed with catalytic dimethyl sulfate to form methamidophos, and reacting the methamidophos formed with acetic anhydride to form N- (methoxy-methylsulfanylphosphoryl) acetamide is also described.
