PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method of Panax ginseng capable of accelerating growth rate and shortening growing period.SOLUTION: Germination is facilitated forcibly by subjecting the Panax ginseng in which at least a part of the leaves withered, before enter into dormant period, or the Panax ginseng that has entered into dormant period, to gibberellin treatment and subsequently cool temperature treatment, wherein the temperature at the time of the cool temperature treatment is set to 7-10°C, the duration of the cool temperature treatment is two weeks to one month. Growth period is provided twice in a year by subjecting the Panax ginseng grown up by the above mentioned gibberellin treatment and cool temperature treatment, to an additional gibberellin treatment and cool temperature treatment again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
