The present invention relates to vegetation materials for greening a slope surface and a greening method using the same which are able to stabilize the slope surface and arrange an eco-friendly landscape through the greening of a place where it is not easy for plants to grow due to the water content and low soil depth of a cut slope surface, an inclined surface, and a latticed-block surface, etc. The slope surface greening vegetation materials which are provided by the present invention in order to achieve the forementioned purpose are: attached to the top of a slope surface； are attached to a basic vegetation soil mix, which is formed by evenly mixing 10-25 wt% of fresh water sludge, 10-20 wt% of rice straw, 10-20 wt% of rice bran, 20-35 wt% of leaf mold, 15-25 wt% of sand, 10-20 wt% of zeolite, and 10-20 wt% of soil cement, and attached to the top on which the basic vegetation soil mix is attached； and include a vegetation maintenance material which is formed by evenly mixing 10-20 wt% of leaf mold, 20-30 wt% of coconut powder, 10-20 wt% of vermiculite, 10-20 wt% of bark, 20-30 wt% of orchid stone, 10-20 wt%, of chaff, and 10-20 wt % of plant seed.
