PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for veterinary having a structure for further facilitating physical examination and surgery of a body side part of an animal patient when performing physical examination and surgery while retaining the animal patient lying on the back using a retainer for veterinary.SOLUTION: A retainer for veterinary 10 supports a retaining appliance body 20 for holding an animal patient with four support posts such as support posts 24. The support posts are inclinable in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction by an actuator housed by a housing 30. A first support arm 40 and a second support arm 43, and a third support arm 46 and a fourth support arm 49 extend from both side parts of the retaining appliance body 20 in a longitudinal direction to an end part side of the retaining appliance body 20 so as to be back to back with each other. The first support arm 40, the second support arm 43, the third support arm 46 and the fourth support arm 49 hold the animal patient in a fixed posture by supporting the four legs of the animal patient and the vicinity parts thereof.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】 獣医科用保定装置を用いて患者動物を仰向けの体勢で保定しながら診察や手術を行う際に、患者動物の体側部に対する診察や手術がさらに容易となる構成を有する獣医科用保定装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 獣医科用保定装置10は、患者動物を保持する保定器本体20を支柱24など4本の支柱で支持している。これらの支柱は、筐体30に収納されたアクチュエータによって長手方向に直交する方向において傾斜可能である。保定器本体20の長手方向における両側部から、第1支持アーム40及び第2支持アーム43と、第3支持アーム46及び第4支持アーム49が互いに背向するように保定器本体20の端部側に延びている。第1支持アーム40、第2支持アーム43、第3支持アーム46及び第4支持アーム49は、患者動物の四肢やその近傍部分を支持することによって患者動物を一定の体勢に保持する。【選択図】 図1
