The present invention addresses the problem of inhibiting discoloration of a composition including ellagic acid or a derivative thereof. According to the present invention, ellagic acid, which is a functional substance, or a derivative thereof is encapsulated in a capsule which uses gelatin and a chelating agent, and the capsule is blended in a composition.
