[Solution] In this container for a medical device, a holder 4 holding at least one medical device is placed inside a container body 2 having an opening at the top, and the opening is sealed with a gas-impermeable film 3. When sterilizing the exterior of the container 1 using a sterilization gas, the sterilization gas does not permeate into the container 1 due to the gas-impermeable film 3, so the medical device and the holder 4 thereof placed inside the container 1 are never exposed to the gas.
