PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of improving fitness.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (10) has: a back and forth direction (L) and a width direction (W) orthogonal to each other； and an absorbent core (50). The absorbent article is folded with a folding line that extends in a width direction on the front side of an article center (10CL) to be a center in a back and forth direction of the absorbent article. The absorbent core is provided with a pair of low rigidity areas (52) which are lower in rigidity than its surroundings and are arranged at intervals in the width direction. The low rigidity areas cross the folding line.
