PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candy such as a sweet suppressing absorption of sugars without rapidly increasing a blood glucose level by simultaneously ingesting a finely pulverized material of a plant of the genus Salacia and/or an extracted essence thereof during ingestion of sugar or brown sugar.SOLUTION: The candy is obtained by coating a core material part comprising sugars such as the sugar, a glucose syrup, brown sugar or soft brown sugar with a coating part comprising: the finely pulverized material of the plant of the genus Salacia and/or the extracted essence thereof a finely pulverized material of Mommordica grosvenorii and/or an extracted essence thereof and a mixture of the sugars such as sugar, glucose syrup, brown sugar or soft brown sugar.
