PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fluid outflow at the stop of a pulse flow ejection with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A fluid ejection device 1 ejects fluids from a fluid ejection opening 93 toward an object to be ejected. The fluid ejection device 1 includes a fluid chamber 80 having an outlet channel 82 so as to communicate with the fluid ejection opening 93, and a pulsation generator 20 that generates pulsed flow to the outlet channel 82 by pressurizing or depressurizing the fluid supplied to the fluid chamber 80. The fluid ejection opening 93 includes an inlet opening end 93a on the side of the outlet channel 82 and an outlet opening end 93b of the side to be ejected with respect to the inlet opening end 93a. An opening area of the inlet opening end 93a is larger than that of the outlet opening end 93b.
