Hybrid greenhouse heating method and system are disclosed. The hybrid greenhouse heating method includes the steps of: (a) operating an air heat pump to heat internal space of a greenhouse (b) operating a diesel fan heater if the temperature in the greenhouse is below a predetermined temperature after a predetermined period of time has elapsed and (c) stopping the operation of the air heat pump and the diesel fan heater when the temperature in the greenhouse reaches a desired temperature level.
