A driving device for driving an easy-detaching wheelchair, comprises: a driving means, connected with left and right wheels of wheelchair, for driving wheelchair, a joint means connected with the driving means, and a velocity and direction control means connected with the joint means. The wheelchair is a manual wheelchair in usual, but can be transform into an electrical wheelchair when the velocity and direction control means and the joint means are engaged to a specific position, and thus users can control direction and speed of the wheelchair by use of the velocity and direction control means so as to smooth the operation of users for a long distance journey.
