PURPOSE: An air cleaner for a vehicle and a power supply method therefor are provided to prevent the amount of ozone from increasing by controlling the power supplied to an ionizer according to the size of the power supplied from a battery.CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner(1) for a vehicle comprises a control unit(10) and an ionizer(30). The control unit receives input power from a battery of the vehicle. The control unit outputs an ionizer control signal with duty ratio which is directly proportional to the size of the input power and is inversely proportional to the size of the input power.
