The present invention relates to a new biocidal product obtained from plant material of the Lavándula luiseri plant which is characterized by comprising a bioactive compound of formula (I) and by presenting an important activity against nematodes and / or weeds, which makes it an alternative to synthetic products for the treatment of biotic factors that affect the development of vegetation. La presente invención se refiere a un nuevo producto biocida obtenido a partir de material vegetal de la planta Lavándula luiseri que se caracteriza por comprender a un compuesto bioactivo de fórmula (I) y por presentar una importante actividad contra nematodos y/o malas hierbas, lo que lo convierte en una alternativa a los productos de síntesis para el tratamiento de factores bióticos que afectan al desarrollo de la vegetación. La invención también incluye el procedimiento de obtención y el uso del producto biocida, tanto directamente, como a través de una composición biocida que lo comprende.
