PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burdens on muscles or the like in any postures such as when the upper body is inclined sideways, or when the upper body is rotated, or when the upper body is bent backward, or when arms are raised, as well as in a forward bending posture.
SOLUTION: The muscular strength aid 1 includes an outer pipe 11 and a rod-shaped inner member 12 slidably inserted into the outer pipe, both of which are made of fiber-enforced plastics, and a tube-shaped elastic member 13 made of silicone rubber connected to the outer pipe and inner member. When two muscular strength aids 1 are attached, for example, between the two positions, the back and the thighs, restorative force to restore the posture to an original posture is generated in the muscular strength aid in any postures of the upper body, such as forward bending posture, sideways bending posture or twisting posture, so that the burdens applied to the muscles in the back or around the waist can be reduced with the restorative force.
