PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cutting aid devices that can easily fell a tree in any direction, regardless of the direction in which the tree grows.SOLUTION: A laser unit 30 of a device body 2 is pivotable in the up-down direction in a mounted state about a base end 31A of a laser cover 31 via a pivot mechanism 40. The pivot mechanism 40 comprises a rotary shaft 41 provided on the base end 31A of the laser cover 31 and parallel to a surface 21, and fixing means 42 provided at the end of the rotary shaft 41 for fixing the pivotal movement of the laser cover 31. The laser unit 30 can swing in the left-right direction in the mounted state via a swing mechanism 50. The swing mechanism 50 comprises a swing plate 52 attached via a rotary shaft 51 perpendicular to the surface 21 of a base 20, a sliding hole 53 provided in the swing plate 52, a sliding pin 54 that is slidable in the sliding hole 53 and fixed to the base 20, and a fixing member 55 provided at the end of the sliding pin 54 for fixing the movement of the swing plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
