Surgical treatment of calcaneal bone fracture is performed by fragment reduction and fixation in external fixation apparatus (EFA). At that, through the soft tissue puncture in the back to the anterior tuberosity, a reducting Schantz screw is introduced in the back, and reposition is performed, simultaneously performing the following procedures: restoration of the calcaneal bone axis by traction of the introduced screw in the sagittal plane, wedging of the fragments by swinging motion of the calcaneal tuberosity and calcaneal bone width recovery by pressure on it from lateral and medial surfaces.
