Die Erfindung betrifft die Bereitstellung zweier neuer kristalliner Formen I und II zu 5-Amino-2,3-dihydrophthalazin-1,4-dion Natriumsalz. Es wurde überraschenderweise gefunden, dass Form I und Form II unterschiedliche immunologische Wirkungen aufweisen. Diese vorteilhafte Eigenschaft ist nützlich für immunspezifische Anwendungen. Des Weiteren verfügen beide Formen über vorteilhafte physikochemische Eigenschaften, welche nützlich sind bei der Herstellung, Weiterverarbeitung und / oder Anwendung einer pharmazeutischen Zubereitung aus Form I oder Form II oder einer Mischung aus beiden.Crystalline forms I and II of 5-amino-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione alkali salt having crystallographic values as given in the specification, determined by X-ray powder diffraction, are new. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of crystalline forms I and II； and (2) a pharmaceutical preparation comprising the crystalline form I and/or II. On a découvert, de manière surprenante, que la forme I et la forme II présentent des effets immunologiques différents. Cette propriété avantageuse est utile pour des applications immunospécifiques. Par ailleurs, les deux formes disposent de propriétés physicochimiques avantageuses, lesquelles sont utiles dans la production, la transformation ultérieure et/ou l'application d'une préparation pharmaceutique de la forme I ou de la forme II ou d'un mélange des deux.
