PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for plant growth which is preferable for use in a plant factory.SOLUTION: A lighting device for plant growth 1 comprises: a substrate 2 light-emitting elements 3 a wiring board 4 a cover body 5 and terminal caps 6. The substrate 2 is made of a metal material, and provided in a cylindrical shape. The cover body 5 is made of a resin material which is transparent to visible light, and is formed in a cylindrical shape so as to house the substrate 2, the light-emitting elements 3 and the wiring board 4.
