PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat combustion promoting agent having a high fat combustion promotion effect.SOLUTION: The fat combustion promoting agent contains spirostan type saponin and unsaturated fatty acid as active ingredients. As the spirostan type saponin, diosgenin glycoside may be given as an example, and as the unsaturated fatty acid, 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid may be given. Ingestion of the fat combustion promoting agent may enhance lipid metabolism and reduce fat mass.
