To provide an epiphytic base of coral larvae capable of continuously supplying the attracting ingredients of the coral larva for a long term, having high performance to make the coral larvae have epiphytic, as a result of these, capable of efficiently recovering or preserving the coral reef ecosystem, and facilitating the production because of having a simple structure, and thereby capable of easily performing the installation operation, and provide its production method.SOLUTION: An epiphytic base 1 of coral larvae comprises granules 2 for the coral larvae containing the attracting ingredients of the coral larvae, and a matrix material 3.
