PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture needle for an ultrasonic endoscope capable of obtaining a clear ultrasonic echo image which is manufactured at low costs without decreasing strength and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The puncture needle for an ultrasonic endoscope includes a needle tube 12 punctured in a living tissue and is inserted/removed in and from a treatment tool insertion channel 21 of an ultrasonic endoscope 20, wherein a plurality of projections 15 are formed by plating or vaporization on an outer peripheral surface near a tip of the needle tube 12, so that the thickness of the needle tube 12 does not become thinner before the projections 15 are formed and processed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】明瞭な超音波エコー画像を得ることができる針管を、強度低下がなく、しかも低コストで製造することができる超音波内視鏡用穿刺針とその製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】生体組織に穿刺される針管12を備えていて、超音波内視鏡20の処置具挿通チャンネル21に挿脱される超音波内視鏡用穿刺針において、針管12の先端付近の外周面に、メッキ又は蒸着により複数の突起15が形成されており、針管12の肉厚が突起15の形成加工前より薄くならない。【選択図】 図1
