PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment method for improving gloss of hair and to provide a composition for hair used for the hair treatment method.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition for hair obtained by blending (i) a solid oil having a melting point of 50°C or less and (ii) N-[2-hydroxy-3-[3-(dihydroxymethylsilyl)propoxy]propyl]hydrolyzed silk. There is provided a hair treatment method which comprises: a treatment step (A) of coating the hair with the composition for hair a treatment step (B) of heating the hair after the treatment step (A).
