PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment method by which a hair iron is smoothly operated when performing a hair iron treatment after applying a hair treatment agent that is blended with polymer, and a hair treatment agent for the same.SOLUTION: A hair treatment method comprises: a pretreatment step in which a hair treatment agent is applied to a hair； and a post-treatment step in which a hair iron is moved while heating parts of the hair iron are contacted with the hair to sandwich the hair between them.
