PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a packaged coffee beverage in which the flavour and aroma that are unique to Robusta are reduced.SOLUTION: It was discovered that a packaged coffee beverage in which the flavour and aroma that are unique to Robusta are reduced is obtained when: a roasted coffee bean extract and a fine powder (insoluble coffee powder) of roasted coffee beans pulverized to a specific particle size are combined such that the concentration of diterpene compounds (cafestol and kahweol) that are unique to coffee and are contained in a prepared liquid for the packaged beverage is within a specific range and the prepared liquid is heat sterilized.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】ロブスタ種特有の風味と香りを軽減した容器詰めコーヒー飲料の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】容器詰め飲料の調合液に含まれるコーヒー特有のジテルペン化合物(カフェストール及びカーウェオール)の濃度が特定範囲となるように、特定の粒子径に微粉砕された焙煎コーヒー豆微粉末(不溶性コーヒー粉末)と、焙煎コーヒー豆の抽出物とを配合し、この調合液を加熱殺菌処理すると、ロブスタ種特有の風味と香りを軽減した容器詰めコーヒー飲料が得られることを見出した。【選択図】なし
