PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination site information acquisition apparatus capable of ensuring both shielding of laser beams during measurement and the visibility of an examination site and easiness of procedure when procedure is conducted.SOLUTION: The examination site information acquisition apparatus comprises a subject support unit 100 and a measurement unit 300. The subject support unit 100 includes: a subject support member 110 having an opening into which an examination site of a subject 900 is inserted and an examination site holding member 200 for holding the examination site. The measurement unit 300 includes: signal conversion means 400 for converting elastic waves from the examination site into electric signals illumination means 500 and a light-shielded casing 310.
