#$%^&*AU2015205923A120150820.pdf#####Abstract A laser surgical system for making incisions in ocular tissues during a cataract surgical procedure, including a laser system comprising a scanning assembly and a laser operable to generate a laser beam for generating imaging data and for cutting tissue, and a control electronics system operably coupled to the laser system and programmed to operate the laser system to scan the ocular tissues with the laser beam, including at least a portion of a crystalline lens, so as to generate image data, process the image data to determine parameters of a cutting pattern for performing an anterior capsulotomy and operate the laser system to scan a focal zone of the beam of the laser in the cutting pattern, wherein positioning of the focal zone is guided by the control system based on the image data so as to perform the anterior capsulotomy.
