The invention concerns a gas delivery device (1) comprising an inner gas passage (100) in fluid communication with a deformable reservoir (27), and a processing unit (51), such as an electronic board with a microcontroller. It further comprises a first differential pressure sensor (281) cooperating with the processing unit (51) for determining a pressure (P) in the deformable reservoir (27), and a proportional valve (22) arranged on the inner gas passage (100) for controlling the flowrate of gas in said inner gas passage (100). The processing unit (51) controls the proportional valve (22) for adjusting the flowrate of gas passing through said proportional valve (22) on the basis of said pressure (P) in the deformable reservoir (27). The gas can be a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide useable for relieving anxiety, for providing light sedations or for treating pain. The gas is delivered by means of a mask, such as an oro-nasal mask.
