PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas dispenser for dispensing accurate doses of a therapeutic gas from a reservoir containing a highly compressed therapeutic gas.SOLUTION: A device 100 for intranasally delivering a therapeutic gas to a patient includes a measurement chamber 108, a combination of pressure regulators 104, 105, and a sequencing mechanism 107 that controls valves 103, 106 associated with the pressure regulators. When implemented in a hand-held dispenser, the hand-held dispenser may reliably deliver consistent doses of gas regardless of an unknown state and pressure of the therapeutic gas in the measurement chamber.
