PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant disease control agent, which can effectively control plant diseases without causing injuries in plants, and also to provide a disease control method using the agent.SOLUTION: The plant disease control agent comprises a solution of salicylic acid and/or a salicylate and plant nutrients, namely phosphoric acid and potassium. The solution may further contain more than one or all of nitrogen, manganese, boron, iron, copper, zinc and molybdenum.
