An apparatus for ophthalmic laser surgery includes a contact surface for shaping abutment of an eye to be treated, a first radiation-source for making a treatment laser beam available, optical components for directing the treatment laser beam through the contact surface onto the eye, and also a measuring instrument for measuring the depth of the anterior chamber of the eye bearing against the contact surface, whereby the measuring instrument makes measured data available that are representative of the depth of the anterior chamber of the eye at least one point of the same. The apparatus enables a monitoring of the depth of the anterior chamber for a predetermined limiting value being fallen short of and in this way can prevent a dangerous close approach of the posterior surface of the cornea to the anterior surface of the lens when the eye is pressed against the contact surface.본 발명은 안과 레이저 수술용 장치로서, 치료할 눈의 성형 접촉을 위한 접촉면(42), 치료 레이저 빔(14)을 제공하기 위한 제1 방사선원(12), 치료 레이저 빔을 접촉면을 통해 눈(16)으로 안내하기 위한 광학 부품(20, 22, 28, 6)들 및 접촉면에 지탱되는 있는 눈의 전안방(anterior chamber)의 깊이를 측정하기 위한 측정 장치(50)를 포함하며, 측정 장치는 눈의 전안방의 적어도 한 지점에서의 눈의 전안방 깊이를 나타내는 측정 데이터를 제공하도록 된 안과 레이저 수술용 장치에 관한 것이다. 상기 장치에 의하면 전안방 깊이가 미리 정해진 한계치 아래에 있는지 검출하기 위하여 전안방 깊이를 감시할 수 있게 되고, 이에 따라 눈이 접촉면에 가압될 때 각막의 후면이 렌즈의 전면을 향한 위험할 정도로 접근하는 것을 방지할 수 있게 된다.
