The objective of the present invention is to provide a tooth extraction instrument with which appropriate tooth extraction can be carried out without the risk of the teeth and gums being inadvertently damaged, with which tooth extraction can be carried out easily and reliably without the need for a large force, and with which all types of tooth extraction can be carried out using only one type of instrument. This tooth extraction instrument is provided with: a pair of arm members capable of pivoting relative to one another about a connecting portion which serves as a pivot point； gripping portions provided at the rear end sides of each of the pair of arm members； an auxiliary tool engaging portion provided in a distal end portion of one of the arm members； and a pressing portion provided in a distal end portion of the other arm member.
