PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical diagnostic apparatus capable of easily adjusting physical relationships among an examination table seat, a spittoon, and a lateral arm part.SOLUTION: A medical diagnostic apparatus includes a medical chair 1 having an examination table seat 10 that can be lifted and lowered, and a spittoon unit 2 having a spittoon 20 that can be lifted and lowered, which is disposed adjacent to the medical chair 1. One of the medical chair 1 and the spittoon unit 2 includes a lifting mechanism 3 and a lateral arm part 4 that is lifted or lowered by the lifting mechanism 3. In the other of the medical chair 1 and the spittoon unit 2, the lateral arm part 4 supports either the examination table seat 10 or the spittoon 20 from below. Either the examination table seat 10 or the spittoon includes a connection mechanism 5 connected to the lateral arm part 4.
