PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a patient getting on and off a table.SOLUTION: A table 3 can be deformed to a chair, and a subject 13 sits on the table 3 deformed to the chair. After making the subject 13 sit, the table 3 is deformed such that a cradle 31 becomes a flat plate shape. After deforming the cradle 31 to the flat plate shape, shape-memory members 46 and 47 of the cradle 31 are brought into a vacuum state to be hardened. After hardening the shape-memory members 46 and 47, the cradle 31 is moved to a bore 21, and the subject 13 is scanned.
