The present invention relates to an MRI contrast agent containing a gadolinium complex, more specifically to a DO3A-aminomethylcyclohexane derivative compound having a structure of the formula (1) and a gadolinium complex thereof. According to the present invention, a DO3A-aminomethylcyclohexane derivative compound can be prepared, and a gadolinium complex can be prepared using the above compound. The gadolinium complexes prepared according to the present invention exhibit thermodynamic and kinetic stability and exhibit comparable relaxation rates to currently available clinical contrast agents. Therefore, the gadolinium complex according to the present invention can be widely used as a contrast agent for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).본 발명은 가돌리늄 착물을 함유하는 MRI 조영제에 관한 것으로, 더욱 구체적으로 화학식 1의 구조를 갖는 DO3A-아미노메틸사이클로헥산 유도체 화합물과 그들의 가돌리늄 착물에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면 DO3A-아미노메틸사이클로헥산 유도체 화합물을 제조할 수 있으며, 상기 화합물을 이용하여 가돌리늄 착물을 제조할 수 있다. 본 발명에 따라 제조된 가돌리늄 착물들은 열역학적 및 속도론적 안정성을 보여주고, 현재 상용중인 임상적 조영제와 필적할만한 이완율을 나타냈다. 따라서 본 발명에 따른 가돌리늄 착물은 자기공명영상(MRI)의 조영제로서 널리 사용될 수 있다.
