PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which can be blended in an external preparation by preventing crystallization of sterols and/or ceramides to maintain excellent stability.SOLUTION: There is provided an amorphous composition which comprises (A) 90 to 1% of at least one of sterols and ceramides, (B) 50 to 0.1% of a specific hydrophilic polyglyceryl fatty acid ester and (C) 98.9 to 1% of isostearic acid, wherein the (B) component is at least one selected from the group consisting of a decaglycerol pentaricinoleate ester, a hexaglycerol tetraricinoleate ester, a hexaglycerol diricinoleate ester, a decaglycerol pentahydroxystearate ester, condensed hexaglyceryl ricinoleate and a hexaglyceryl polyricinoleate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
