PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel external preparation for skin.SOLUTION: An external preparation for skin of the present invention contains a component other than water of mineral water and one type or more of higher fatty acid, and contains at least aluminum ion by 1×10mass% to 1×10mass%, sulfuric acid ion by 1×10mass% to 8×10mass%, sulfuric acid hydrogen ion by 5×10mass% to 1.6×10mass%, ferrous ion by 1×10mass% to 3×10mass%, and ferric ion by 5×10mass% to 2×10mass %, and a dosage form is in ointment, gel agent or cream agent. It is preferable that the higher fatty acid be stearic acid. The external preparation for skin has muscular fatigue prevention or recovery effect, antitussive effect, prevention or recovery effect of wound, and prevention or recovery effect of ulcer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
