PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier that is capable of preventing a cared person from falling off, and enables a work on the carrier to be easily performed.SOLUTION: The carrier is provided with a stretcher 2 for mounting the cared person, and side fences 3 rotatably attached at both side edge parts of the stretcher 2. The side fences 3 are respectively formed in a V-shape in a standing position outwardly with respect to the stretcher, the side fences 3 each having a lower side fence part 30 including an approximately lower half part of the V-shape, and an upper side fence part 31 including an approximately upper half part of the V-shape.
