PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of freely changing a position and posture of a tip of an endoscope while avoiding an increase in the diameter of the endoscope.SOLUTION: An endoscope system 10 comprises: an endoscope 12 introduced into a body cavity through an inside of a catheter for peritoneal dialysis and a guide wire 14 which is folded back at a tip side, and in which a forward part 40 passes through the inside of the endoscope 12 and a return part 42 passes through the outside of the endoscope 12 and the inside of the catheter. A tip portion of the guide wire 14 can be deformed in a linear state in which the forward part 40 and the return part 42 are aligned in substantially parallel, and an expansion state in which at least the forward part 40 expands in a substantially arc shape. In a state of positioning the tip of the endoscope 12 at the tip portion in the expansion state, a tip position and posture of the endoscope 12 can be changed by performing at least either the movement of the endoscope 12 along the guide wire 14 or the rotation of the guide wire 14 around a long axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】内視鏡の大径化を避けつつ、内視鏡の先端の位置および姿勢を自由に変更できる内視鏡システムを提供する。【解決手段】内視鏡システム10は、腹膜透析用のカテーテル内を通って体腔内に導入される内視鏡12と、先端側において折り返されるガイドワイヤ14であって、往路部40が内視鏡12内を通り、復路部42が内視鏡12の外側かつカテーテルの内部を通るガイドワイヤ14と、を備える。ガイドワイヤ14の先端部分は、往路部40と復路部42が略平行に並ぶ直線状態と、少なくとも往路部40が略弧状に広がる展開状態、に変形可能であり、展開状態の先端部分に内視鏡12の先端を位置させた状態で、ガイドワイヤ14に沿った内視鏡12の移動、および、ガイドワイヤ14の長軸周りの回転の少なくとも一方を行うことで、内視鏡12の先端位置および姿勢が変更される。【選択図】図1
