A method and device for monitoring a treatment of posture of different body parts in which a local mechanotherapeutic stimulus is applied to a subject (e.g. a human or animal). The device comprises an elastic material 1 which is to be worn over the part of the body, a pressure regulating support 4, a pressure applicator 7 and a pressure sensor 8. The support 4 is fixed to the elastic material 1 and passes over a region where mechanotherapeutic stimulus is to be applied and allows for tension in the support to be varied and to act on a convex rear face of the pressure applicator 7. The sensor 8 is rigidly attached to the pressure applicator 7 and they are together received in a pocket. The sensor senses pressure and hence a stimulus applied to the part as a result of the tension in the support, the sensor being configured to output a signal indicative of the pressure applied, providing the opportunity to change the stimulus to within a given range based on the feedback from the sensor.La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de surveillance d'un traitement de la posture de différentes parties du corps, consistant à appliquer un stimulus mécanothérapeutique local à un sujet (par exemple un être humain ou un animal). Ledit dispositif comprend un matériau élastique (1) destiné à être porté sur une partie du corps, un support de régulation de pression (4), un applicateur de pression (7) et un capteur de pression (8).
