PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the recovery of functions by causing a patient to stand in a lying state together with a bed body, and to move hands and legs with help from others such as a care-giver, or by the patient himself/herself.SOLUTION: A bed body 1 on which a patient P is lying supine is tilted or erected and fixed by erecting/holding/fixing means 46 so as to cause the patient P to stand, and overturning prevention means 2 for maintaining the erection state of the standing patient P is removably connected and fixed to the front of the bed body 1.
