A method for continuously monitoring a functional state and giving a functional diagnosis consists in that data from a biometric monitor (a wristwatch or bracelet) is transmitted by wired or wireless means to a mobile application on an Android or iOS platform, a stress level is calculated on the basis of a histogram plotted using measured pulse values, and then the stress level is determined on the basis of the histogram data, proceeding from a concentration of a maximum number of intervals between adjacent heartbeats within a given range of X ms indices of the intensity of movement of the user are recorded using an electrical accelerometer built into the biometric monitor, then, on the basis of the distribution of the obtained indices over time, conclusions are drawn about the daily motion activity and lifestyle of the individual on the basis of the information gathered, a conclusion is drawn about what precisely served as the source of a change in stress level, and the user is advised to avoid the source in question.
