We disclose herein a method of detecting abnormalities in electrocardiogram (ECG) signals, the method comprising receiving a set of ECG signals from an ECG device； amplifying only the peaks of at least some of the set of ECG signals to produce ECG beat markings from which a heart rate is derivable to detect an irregular rhythm between at least two ECG beats； extracting a single ECG beat from the set of ECG signals from the ECG device by using said ECG beat markings； feeding the extracted single ECG beat into a first neural network； producing, at the first neural network, a compact representation of the extracted single ECG signal so as to generate a feature extraction output； and using, at a second neural network, the feature extraction output from the first neural network to generate a score associated with the abnormalities in the ECG signals.L'invention concerne un procédé de détection d'anomalies dans des signaux d'électrocardiogramme (ECG), le procédé consistant à recevoir un ensemble de signaux ECG en provenance d'un dispositif ECG； à amplifier uniquement les pics d'au moins une partie de l'ensemble de signaux ECG pour produire des repères de battement ECG à partir desquels une fréquence cardiaque peut être dérivée pour détecter un rythme irrégulier entre au moins deux battements ECG； à extraire un seul battement ECG de l'ensemble de signaux ECG en provenance du dispositif ECG à l'aide desdits repères de battement ECG； à introduire le battement ECG unique extrait dans un premier réseau neuronal； à produire, au niveau du premier réseau neuronal, une représentation compacte du signal ECG unique extrait de façon à générer une sortie d'extraction de caractéristique； et à utiliser, au niveau d'un second réseau neuronal, la sortie d'extraction de caractéristique provenant du premier réseau neuronal pour générer un score associé aux anomalies dans les signaux ECG.
