PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing device enabling a position of a medical instrument inserted into a heart to be easily recognized, and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus including the medical image processing device, and a medical image processing program.SOLUTION: The medical image processing device of the present embodiment includes a cross-section setting part and an identifying part. The cross-section setting part sets a first cross-section corresponding to a short-axial cross-section of a heart in an ultrasonic volume data showing a three-dimensional region including a heart of a subject body and a medical instrument inserted into the heart. The identifying part identifies a first position which is a position of a region along the first cross-section in the medical instrument.
