The present invention relates to a liquid insecticidal composition consisiting of one or more pyrethroid compounds (for example, compounds represented by the following formula (I)(4-methoxymethyl-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyl=2,2-dimethyl-3-( 1-propenyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate,4-methyl-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyl=2,2-dimethyl-3-(1-propen yl)cyclopropanecarboxylate,4-methoxymethyl-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyl=2,2-dimethyl-3-(2 -cyano-1-propenyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate, and the like)) and two or more organic solvents, wherein the liquid insecticidal composition has a density of 0.80 g/cm3 or more and a kinematic viscosity coefficient of 2.0 cSt or more and 6.0 cSt or less,wherein Rx Ry and R represent the same meaning as defined in the specification.The liquid insecticidal composition of the present invention is a liquid insecticidal composition for spraying exhibiting an excellent controlling effect on insect pests.
