PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air treatment method capable of adding flavor to air.SOLUTION: There is provided an air treatment method including； generating ozone by radiating a light from a light source 2 to air taken with a fan 4 by using an air treatment device 1 having the light source 2 for radiating the light, a body 3 for accommodating the light source 2 and the fan 4 for distributing the air in the body 3； and generating at least one of benzoic acid, benzaldehyde and acetophenone by reacting hydroxy (OH) radical generated by generated ozone with organic articles in the air.
