The present invention relates to an oral combined preparation comprising an omega-3 fatty acid or a derivative thereof encapsulated in a hard or soft capsule containing sorbitol and sorbitan, and an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. The formulations of the present invention comprising omega-3 fatty acids encapsulated with sorbitol and sorbitan better prevent the formation of related substances and provide improved long-term storage stability. The oral combination preparations of the present invention can also reduce both LDL-cholesterol and TG concentrations and increase serum HDL-cholesterol concentrations.
